Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026
We keep the information we hold about you to the minimum needed to sell you the game and check your licence.
When you buy
Stripe, our reseller, collects your name, email address, billing details and payment information to process your order. We receive your name, email address and order details from Stripe. We never see your full card details. Stripe's own privacy policy explains how it handles your data.
We send your licence key by email through Brevo, an email delivery service, which receives your email address and name for that purpose only.
Your licence
We store your licence key with a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, and once you activate, your email address, the activation date and an anonymous ID for your PC. The PC ID is a one-way code made from your computer's hardware ID; it can't be used to identify you or your computer elsewhere. This data is held in Google Firebase.
When the game checks your licence, it sends only your licence key.
Online features (only if you use them)
- Multiplayer games. When you host a game, the game signs in to Google Firebase anonymously, with no account or email address, and lists your room: its name, your player name, the road and scenario, how many players are in it, and the network address (IP address and port) other players need to connect to you. When you stop hosting, the listing is removed. If the game closes unexpectedly, it drops off the list within a few minutes. When you join a game, your network address is passed to the host so the two PCs can connect, and it's deleted as soon as the host has read it.
- Chat and voice chat. These go directly between the players in your game. We don't record or store them.
- Daily challenge leaderboard. If you post a score, we store the name you choose, your score and the anonymous PC ID, so the board shows one score per player. Scores are visible to other players.
Voice commands are optional, and they're handled offline by Windows on your PC. No audio leaves your computer for them. Apart from the above, no gameplay data, files or personal information leave your PC.
Why we use it
To deliver your licence key, activate and check your licence, run the online features you choose to use, prevent misuse, and answer support emails. The lawful basis is performing our contract with you.
How long we keep it
Licence data: for as long as your licence exists, plus any period the law requires for sales records. Multiplayer room listings: only while you host. Leaderboard scores: we keep each day's board so players can look back at it. Ask us and we'll remove yours.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Email us at plaztikman@live.com. Deleting your licence data means the game can no longer be activated. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
